Worms & Cie was founded in France in 1848 by Hypolite Worms.
Originally created as a gypse and coal merchant, the Firm diversified organically into shipping and then banking.
By the mid-20th century, times were changing and adaptability was key to survival.
The Firm leveraged its entrepreneurial roots to stake or to create numerous businesses which today represent large employers and
drivers of innovation to the world, amongst those names are Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, SGS, Saint Louis Sucre, etc.
Today, our activities are aligned with our heritage, we aim to drive growth across our operating businesses, support entrepreneurs proactively and stay ahead of ever evolving trends that continue to shape the world.
